Rise Gardens Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Rise Gardens LLC handles personal data we collect online (e.g., through our websites) and offline (e.g., through customer support channels, our retail locations, and in-person promotional activities) (collectively, the “Services”). Information We Collect

Information we collect directly from you

We collect the information you provide directly to us, such as when you open an account, place an order, ask to receive emails, or interact with us on social media. The types of personal data we may collect directly from you include:

Referral Program Terms & Conditions:

By participating in the Referral Program, you (the "Referrer") agree to abide by these Referral Program Terms & Conditions.

Referrer: you, an owner of an indoor garden by Rise Gardens of any type of garden from the following: Personal Garden, Single Family Garden, Double Family Garden or Triple Family Garden.

Referred Customer: a friend or family member who has not previously shopped with Rise Gardens's before and to whom the Referrer shares their link.

Rise Gardens reserves the right to review, investigate, and disqualify any Referral Credit that violates the Rise Gardens' Referral Program, such as attempting to gain a discount through self-referral by using a different email address, or distributing a referral Link via commercial advertising or spam. Rise Gardens may delay any discount for the purposes of investigation and may refuse to verify and process any transaction for any reason. Referrer OR Referred customer may NOT combine Referral discount with another offer and Referral discounts only apply on full price items. If you cancel your order, the discount may no longer be valid or may be withdrawn.

Referrers should only invite a friend or family member after receiving prior permission from the Referred Customer to send. Referrers must comply with all up-to-date “SPAM” laws and marketing regulations, which may include the laws where the intended Referred Customers live. For example, emails must be created and distributed in a personal manner and bulk email distribution is prohibited. Any distribution of the Referral Link that could constitute unsolicited commercial email or "spam" under any applicable law or regulation is expressly prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination of your account and exclusion from Rise Garden's Referral Program. Rise Gardens automatically disqualifies suspicious referrals.

Eligibility is limited to individuals only. Rise Gardens' program cannot be used by businesses for affiliate lead generation, as determined by Rise Gardens' sole discretion.

Rise Gardens reserve the right to cancel the Referral Program or to change these Terms & Conditions at any time in its sole discretion. Rise Gardens' Referral Program is subject to modification or termination at any time without notice at Rise Gardens' sole discretion. All Referral Credits will expire one year from the date of issuance, unless otherwise notified by Rise Gardens.

Information we collect from other sources

When you access the Services through a social network, we collect information from the social network in accordance with your settings on the social network. If you interact with us on social media, we will collect information about those interactions. The information we may collect includes your name, picture, and email address. We may also collect information about you from third parties, including mailing list providers and publicly available sources, or friends that refer you to Rise Gardens.

Information we collect by automated means

When you visit our sites, we collect certain information automatically. To collect this information, we may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies. Managing or deleting your Rise Gardens account

You may review, update, or modify your account information, including profile and contact information, at any time by logging into your Rise Gardens account. You may delete your Rise Gardens account by emailing support@risegardens.com

Opting out of email marketing

You may unsubscribe from our promotional emails at any time by following the instructions included in those emails. If you opt out of receiving such communications, note that we may continue to send you non-promotional emails (such as order confirmation emails or emails about changes to our legal terms).

Restricting cookies

Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. You can usually choose to set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies. Please note that if you choose to remove or reject cookies, this could affect the availability and functionality of our websites.

Children

The Services may include an activity feed, social media buttons and widgets, such as the Facebook "Like" button or the "Share This" button. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the third-party service that provides the feature.

SMS Marketing

We value your privacy and the information you consent to share in relation to our SMS marketing service. We use this information to send you text notifications (for your order, including abandoned checkout reminders), text marketing offers, and transactional texts, including requests for reviews from us.
